Lisa has been a client of mine for nearly a year now, and in that time I have seen her make enormous changes both mentally and physically. She has truly hardened herself into a fitness warrior and has proven to herself that she can achieve anything she puts her mind to.

Lisa is a testament to the efficacy of my training program. By following healthy eating habits, exercising on a consistent basis and aligning her beliefs, behaviors and goals, Lisa has lost almost 30 lbs of pure fat, 10 dress sizes and has broken down barriers she previously considered insurmountable. Im a your average working mom. I have 2 precious little ones.  What isn’t precious is what was left of my body after my kids.  I have always been an active person and i enjoyed working out. I was working out 5 days at the gym and incorporating swim, biking and running to my routine but the weight was stagnant.  I was discourage with the results and was on the brink of giving up my goal to lose the weight.

In Oct 2011, i received an email from Training Ground OC for a 21 day workout challenge. I read the email and thought…this is just another email from a trainer who claims to get me in shape and lose weight. needless to say, i continued to do my routine of working out 5 days a week and maintaining my weight. Then i received another email from Ben inviting me to join the challenge again and I thought, i like persistence and decided to text Ben and see if he would actually text me back and HE DID…

That text message changed my life….I participated in the 21 day program and dropped 8 pounds and saw a change in my body for the first time in years. I was working out less, eating right and losing weight. The change made me feel it was possible to finally reach my goal weight after so many failed attempts. With Ben’s program,  I not only learned what to eat and when to eat it, but I learned how to take control of my own menu planning.

After 8 months on the program, I lost nearly 30 lbs and I went from a size 12 to a size 2. My mental image of myself has totally changed. Im proud of what Ive accomplished with the help of Ben and the Core Team.  My doctor is proud of me as well, because I was able to get off my blood pressure medication. I’m healthier and leaner now then I was when I played competitive sports.

The best part of being healthy and leaner is shopping! I dreaded shopping when I was a size 12. Nothing looked good and I avoided buying new clothes. Now that Im a size 2, I cant wait to go to the store and try on outfits that I never would have tried on as a size 12.

This program is straight forward. Eat right and show up to class and you will be achieve amazing results. If i can do it, you can too.

Lisa isn’t slowing down any time soon and is going to continue growing and evolving as time goes on. I can hardly wait to see where she’ll be a few more months from now. Keep up the good work Lisa and congratulations on unleashing your Inner Athlete!
